Air Products’ Hydrogen Technology Fuels South Carolina Demonstration Project

Lehigh Valley PA (SPX) Mar 25, 2008 - Air Products mobile hydrogen fueling technology has been placed into service for a hydrogen fuel demonstration project in Aiken County, South Carolina. The fueler is providing hydrogen for a hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine pick-up truck which is being used as a development, demonstration and educational tool in coordination with a program involving the Aiken County Economic Development Partnership.

Expanded POET Biorefining – Chancellor Begins Production

Sioux Falls SD (SPX) Mar 25, 2008 - POET Biorefining - Chancellor started producing ethanol last week at its expanded capacity of 100 million gallons per year (MGPY). It took the plant fewer than 24 hours to achieve its new nameplate capacity. The $100 million construction project started 12 months ago and doubled the plant's production capacity. With the expansion completed, the annual production capacity of POET's 22 ethanol plants is 1.25 billion gallons per year.

SES And YIMA Establish Project Office At Planned Coal Gasification To Chemicals Plant Site

Houston TX (SPX) Mar 25, 2008 - Synthesis Energy Systems and YIMA Coal Industry Group have announced the establishment of the joint project office responsible for developing their planned integrated coal gasification to transportation fuels and chemical intermediates plant (the Plant) in Henan Province, China.
