One Lebanese soldier was killed and four wounded during Israeli air strikes on south Lebanon Sunday, an army spokesman told AFP.
One soldier was killed and two others wounded when the Israeli navy bombarded a Lebanese army post in the southern port of Tyre, the spokesman said.
Two other soldiers were wounded in Israeli air raids on the village of Dibbin, near Marjayun, in the central sector of the border region, he added.
The deaths brought to 28 the number of Lebanese soldiers killed since Israel launched its offensive on its northern neighbour after Hezbollah militants captured two servicemen in a deadly cross-border raid on July 12.
