Israeli warplanes early Sunday bombed two roads linking Lebanon's eastern Bekaa plain with Beirut and north Lebanon, as well as two bridges in Akkar province north of the capital, Lebanese police said.
A first raid targeted a road near the Christian town of Zahle 50 kilometres (30 miles) east of Beirut with a second hitting a sector three kilometres (two miles) to the west.
A third attack hit a road in the mountains linking Bekaa with the coast.
Another aerial bombardment knocked out the road linking Ainata in the Bekaa with Cedres in north Lebanon.
Police said two further raids damaged bridges in Akkar, a region of north Lebanon bordering on Syria.
Six more raids were carried out early Sunday against positions of the pro-Syrian Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) at Qussaya-Kfar Zabad in the eastern Bekaa valley.
