Israeli warplanes struck the road connecting northeastern Lebanon to Syria early Tuesday, Lebanese police said without indicating if there were any casualties.
The village of Hermel, considered a Hezbollah stronghold about 15 kilometres (nine miles) from the Syrian border, was hit several times, particularly the road leading from it to the Syrian town of Homs, police said.
Another road to Syria was bombed near the village of Qaa, southeast of Hermel.
Israeli jets on Monday attacked Lebanon's Masnaa border crossing with Syria for the third time in as many days, wounding four customs employees and a civilian, security sources said.
A missile struck a pick-up truck full of vegetables near the customs building while another missile hit a nearby building, they said.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said the raid targeted a truck "transporting arms," but emphasised that "the attack was carried out inside Lebanese territory."
