A Czech soldier serving with NATO-led peacekeepers in Kosovo (KFOR) was found dead this weekend, an official said Monday.
"One of our soldiers was found dead in his room on Sunday morning," the public information officer of the Czech batallion, told AFP.
He said it was "sure that this was not a murder," but insisted that the "cause of the death will be known at the end of the investigation."
The identity of the dead soldier was not revealed.
With its 530 soldiers, the Czech republic is among 37 NATO and non-NATO countries taking part in KFOR mission.
