Israeli warplanes carried out a raid early Thursday near a Lebanese army base in the Amchit region 40 kilometres (25 miles) north of Beirut without causing any casualties, a Lebanese military source told AFP.
Israeli rockets caused a fire at a radio communications centre, the source said.
Since the start of the Israeli offensive on July 12, a total of 28 Lebanese troops and gendarmes have been killed and 81 wounded in Israeli air raids.
