Peryphon Development has announced that it has received an order for the supply of its advanced rugged military communication products and systems to the armed forces of an undisclosed country.
The IP-based products and systems will be integrated to provide deployed tactical HQs- at the division, battalion and platoon echelons, with enhanced communication services.
Israel (Aike) Aharoni, Peryphon's CEO, commented that: "We have recognized a growing demand throughout the world for solutions which will significantly upgrade armed forces' deployed communication systems, and have developed a family of products which fully addresses this need.
The new contract is yet another testament to the unique benefits provided by Peryphon's tactical communication technology, which enables seamless integration of our advanced military systems with both legacy and modern communication equipment, significantly upgrading the deployed communication system's cababilities without having to completely replace all existing legacy devices within that system."
Aike also noted that Peryphon is in advanced stages of closing similar contracts with the armed forces of several other countries.
Over the past two years Peryphon has received and delivered several notable contracts, among which are the development of a unique intercom system featuring advanced noise-reduction technology for an elite aerial search and rescue military unit, a voice and data communication system developed for an advanced commercial aviation platform, and a voice and data communication system installed in the most advanced air-defense missile batteries used by the Israeli Defense Forces.
