The U.S. Navy has contracted CACI International for continued support for weapon systems engineering, technology, and logistics.
The Engineering and Technical Related Services award was issued under the SeaPort-e contract vehicle that CACI received in 2004. It has a value of $26.6 million and has a base period of performance of one-year and two, one-year options.
CACI said the work will be performed for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division in Maryland, which provides research, development, engineering, manufacturing, testing, evaluation, and in-service support for energetics, ordnance, and explosive ordnance disposal solutions.
Under the new award CACI will continue providing technical systems engineering analysis and basic engineering studies of weapon systems and performance.
"CACI's award of the ETRS contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head EOD Technology Division continues our long-term partnership with this customer and is an excellent example of our commitment to customer service and satisfaction," said CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury. "This contract is also a demonstration of the success of our strategy to secure ongoing work in our high-volume C4ISR market area."
