Nearly four dozen aircraft of the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center in Nevada are to receive logistics and maintenance support from DynCorp International.

The task order received for the services has a performance period of one year and carries a maximum value of $44.5 million.

DynCorp International said the task order comes under a five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract issued previously to support the center in Fallon, Nev.

"This contract award continues to significantly expand our work with the Navy, building on another recent contract award to support T-34, T-44 and T-6 aircraft," said James Myles, DynAviation senior vice president, DynCorp International. "Our DynAviation team is honored to have the opportunity to serve the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center and continue to develop a strong relationship with this customer."

The company said the organizational, selected intermediate, and limited depot level maintenance and logistics services would be for 44 planes, including F/A-18A-Fs, EA-18Gs, MH-60S helicopters, F-16A/B fighters and E-2 C aircraft.

Additional details of services to be provided were not disclosed.
