Lockheed Martin Aeronautics has received U.S. Air Force contract worth a maximum $10 billion for the C-130J Super Hercules production program.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract will cover all future delivery orders within the scope of the contract and will support the C-130J program.
Work will be performed in Georgia and is expected to be completed by August 2026.
The contract includes foreign military sales.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is the contracting activity.
Lockheed's Super Hercules can conduct combat, humanitarian, special operations, aerial refueling, firefighting and search and rescue missions.
The rugged aircraft can also be one of the first aircraft to touch down in austere environments.
