Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $9.4 million, one-year Data Services Logistics Enterprise Dashboard spiral task order to provide aircraft maintenance status, supply chain visibility, balanced scorecard information, predictive analysis and other logistics capabilities through the Global Combat Support System – Air Force (GCSS-AF) portal and the Air Force Common Operating Picture (AF COP).
“This award expands on our current Data Services capabilities for the Air Force, moving those capabilities within a common framework that provides maximum data visibility and impact to meet Air Force operational and analytical needs,“ said Walt Schroeder, GCSS-AF Data Services Program Manager. “The robust enterprise architecture and integrated IT technologies that are the core of GCSS not only enhance operational effectiveness for the Air Force, but also expedite successful integration of mission-ready capabilities into the Air Force's portal and data warehouse.“
The GCSS-AF service oriented architecture provides enterprise services, including the Data Services warehouse, which provides Air Force users with timely, integrated information for status and analysis. Data Services is the premier data storehouse for the Air Force enterprise, giving warfighters and analysts worldwide instant, secure access to the information they need for operational and analytical decision-making.
