iSECUREtrac has been awarded a contract by the Illinois Department of Corrections for GPS offender tracking and monitoring systems. This is a 100% federally-funded contract valued at $500,000 per year.

"We are pleased to have been selected by yet another state department of corrections for their GPS offender monitoring effort," said Tom Wharton, CEO of iSECUREtrac.

"The State of Illinois did head-to-head comparison testing of our system and the competition, in the end deciding to go with our advanced GPS monitoring system," added Wharton.

"Selecting new offender monitoring technology can be a daunting task for corrections agencies, so we regularly recommend product pilots and head to head competitive testing. We have experience implementing GPS monitoring programs for sex offenders, juvenile programs, drug and alcohol offenses, work release, probation, parole, and pretrial release," added Wharton.

"iSECUREtrac's GPS systems have been proven in field operations for over 2 years and offer consistent results to customers in 46 States and Europe," Wharton Continued.

"We continue to lead the market with the most sophisticated offender monitoring software, dependable hardware, and the largest wireless coverage area in the USA. Without our advanced GPS systems, internet web host, and wireless coverage network, Agencies are risking public safety," added Wharton.
