Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ, TASE: GILT), a global leader in satellite networking technology and services, announced that its U.S.-based subsidiary, DataPath Inc., has been awarded multiple contracts by the U.S. Department of Defense. These contracts, valued at over $5M, cover core terminal services, technological upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems.
Under the agreements, DataPath will provide sustainment and technical upgrades to several Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT) units, improving their functionality and the operational efficiency of military communications.
Additionally, DataPath will upgrade current satellite communication systems to increase performance while simplifying their use, making them more efficient for military personnel in the field.
