Six people were killed in landslides and floods triggered by heavy rains in Indonesia, officials said Wednesday.
Four people were killed in floods in East Java's Bojonegoro district and two were killed when a landslide triggered by monsoon rains buried a house in central Sulawesi, they said.
"Four people including two young children were killed in the floods," Bojonegoro district spokesman Jhony Nurhariyanto told AFP.
In central Sulawesi, district crisis centre head Abdul Madjid Yunus said eight houses had been destroyed in the landslide late Tuesday.
Landslides and flooding are common in Indonesia during the rainy season, which peaks between December and February.
