Editorial Team

The Energy Daily Editorial Team produces Energy Daily's coverage of the global energy industry. We report on oil and gas, power grids and utilities, energy markets and policy, and the renewables and storage reshaping how the world is powered. Articles reflect our team's collective editorial process, source verification, drafting, technical review, and editing, rather than a single writer's work. Energy Daily takes editorial responsibility for content under this byline. For more on how we work, see our editorial policy.

Greening the Grid Gets Green Light

Folsom CA (SPX) Oct 19, 2007 - The California Independent System Operator Corporation (California ISO) Board of Governors approved making changes to its federal tariff that spell out how a new financing tool will work to remove barriers for renewable power trying to access the power grid. North American Electricity Demand Continues To Outpace Resource Growth

Unless additional resources are brought into service, some areas could fall below their target capacity margins within two or three years. In parts of western Canada, demand is projected to outpace resource growth within about two years.
