Aalyria has secured its first delivery order under a multi-year Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the U.S. Space Force Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO), a contract that could total up to $1 billion. As one of the 20 companies selected, Aalyria will support the Rapid Resilient Command and Control (R2C2) program, which aims to modernize satellite tactical ground operations through technical innovation and collaboration with industry experts.
"We are honored to be selected and look forward to collaborating with Space Force and other awardees to meet the challenges of ensuring resilient all-domain interoperable networks that support the joint force and Allies," said Chris Taylor, CEO of Aalyria.
The Space RCO's mission is to rapidly develop and deploy essential space systems. The R2C2 program is creating a cloud-based satellite operations platform that offers operators the flexibility to command and reposition satellites for protect-and-defend missions. Aalyria's Spacetime platform, which provides dynamic, self-healing, and autonomous management of satellite mesh networks, is one of the technologies offering the Space Force a significant operational advantage in tactical command and control (C2), ensuring U.S. space dominance.
Since its launch less than two years ago, Aalyria has quickly formed partnerships with various commercial and government entities, including DIU, NRL, NASA, the European Space Agency, Telesat, Intelsat, Airbus, and others.
