Triton Services, as a subcontractor to New Directions Technologies, announced Tuesday that it has been awarded a significant NAVAIR contract supporting the $11.5 million Hairy Buffalo Program, for engineering, logistics, and technical services in support of the Naval Air Systems Command's Avionics Department (AIR-4.5).

Specific program support areas include: engineering, system engineering, and process engineering; prototyping, pre-production, model-making, and fabrication; system design documentation and technical data; software engineering, development, programming, and networking; configuration management; logistics; information system development; information assurance; and information technology support.

This program includes the following system/technology areas: hyper spectral imagery systems; sensor fusion systems; avionics science and technology; network centric warfare; flight information systems; electronic warfare systems; radar systems; antenna systems; electro optic and infrared systems; imagery and video systems; ballistic missile defense surveillance technology; airborne information processing systems; networks; special mission sensors; communication systems; navigation systems; cross domain information systems; and multi-level security information systems.
