TVI Corporation has received an order for more than $450,000 from Texas Health Resources (THR) for a 50-bed mobile hospital system, the first of its kind in the state of Texas. "The partnership that TVI has formed with THR brings together expertise in both domestic preparedness and the medical care industries," said President and Chief Executive Officer of TVI Corporation Richard V. Priddy.

"By integrating multiple technologies, including Shelters and HEPA Filtration, TVI has designed a customized system that addresses the surge capacity needs in Texas. TVI will also provide THR with extensive training, support and consultation."

"The completeness of this system is a significant component in the state of Texas' capability to address a large scale disaster while maintaining high quality medical care," Priddy continued. "We are pleased to see Texas invest in its healthcare preparedness."

Texas Health Resources is a 13 hospital network composed from the Harris Methodist Health System, Presbyterian Healthcare Resources and the Arlington Memorial Hospital located within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area.
