A 'Start-1' rocket carrying the Swedish satellite 'Odin' is set for launch at 11:48 a.m. Moscow time on Tuesday, the press service for the Russian Strategic Missile Force has announced.
The Start-1 lies on a 'Topol' mobile launch platform and was moved to the launch site at the Svobodny cosmodrome in the Amur region on Monday.
The cosmodrome's military teams are wrapping up the final electric system tests, and are conducting autonomous tests of the rocket's various other systems and the entire launch complex, the press service reports.
"The results of the analysis of information obtained indicate that all systems are functioning normally," its press release reads.
The Odin was built for astronomical and atmospheric research, and Sweden, Canada, France and Finland are all involved in the project.
