RT Logic, a wholly owned subsidiary of Integral Systems Wednesday announced that it was awarded a contract to supply Telemetrix systems to DigitalGlobe. The contract value exceeds $2.5M, and initial deliveries are scheduled for late 2004.

DigitalGlobe is upgrading its remote ground terminals and mission control station to support the new WorldView satellite. The new suite of Telemetrix systems being delivered by RT Logic also supports the on-orbit Quickbird satellite and provides the flexibility to support future missions.

"This project takes full advantage of our recently revamped product line," said Randy Culver, RT Logic's president.

"The inherent programmability of our Telemetrix products allows the equipment to handle multiple uplink/downlink signal characteristics with a single set of equipment."

RT Logic is providing the full front-end processing suite to be used for spacecraft telemetry and command processing. The Telemetrix 70/70XL Digital Signal Processor is being installed at the antenna sites.

The T70/70XL unit provides USB/SGLS command modulation and QPSK/AQPN telemetry demodulation. At the mission control station, the Telemetrix 505 (T505) supports command formatting, telemetry synchronization, and AES encryption/decryption.

Telemetrix 500GT units are being installed to link the remote ground antenna sites and the mission control station. The T500GT provides gateway/protocol conversion services to transport the serial telemetry/command streams over an IP network.
