Inteq has been selected as the preferred bidder for the Corsham Development Project, part of a programme costing approximately 800M pound, that will rebuild, refurbish and manage state-of-the-art communication facilities at Corsham in Wiltshire, Defence Minister, Derek Twigg MP, announced today.
Over the next 25 years this project will assist the delivery of modern communications for our Armed Forces when they deploy around the world on operations such as peacekeeping, sea lane protection, intelligence gathering, counter narcotics and humanitarian aid operations.
Mr Twigg said: "This project will deliver state-of-the art communications facilities that will be used by the Defence Communication Services Agency to support our front line troops when they deploy. The announcement of the Preferred Bidder for this PFI is a major step forward and I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Inteq."

This Private Finance Initiative will see significant redevelopment of MoD's Basil Hill communications hub. Cutting edge operational and technical support facilities will be constructed, along with new office accommodation for 2000 staff and 180 single room en-suite bed spaces for service personnel.
