Japan Press Network (JPN) has just published its semi-annual Asian Expo Buyer`s Guide, a one-of-a-kind catalogue of exotic gift ideas that wholesalers and retailers alike can use to source unique items for import and resale.

The Guide reflects a culling of the best items on display at consumer electronics fairs held in the summer and fall throughout Asia, from Tokyo to Hong Kong. The top 25 items to make the list survived scrupulous judgement from JPN's panel of judges, who also included five 'honorable mentions' worthy of note.

"All of the gadgets on our list have that "wow" factor that signal to us a future 'must have' product," says JPN's Editor in Chief, Brad Frischkorn. "The startup market is incredibly competitive and diverse in Asia, with several of the companies still in the capital-raising stages of their development."

The Guide includes items that have been unexposed or underexposed to Western media, such as decorative LED panels that assemble like LEGOs, a car umbrella, the world's smallest 4K camera, and the most advanced Bluetooth biking helmet ever seen. Many of the gadgets have yet to hit mainstream markets.

The Buyer`s Guide provides detailed product specifications, exquisite photographs, interviews with company executives, and evaluations of the products themselves. A curated directory of company contacts makes direct communication and ordering remarkably easy. The stories are also linked to full write-ups on JPN's website at www.japanpressnetwork.com.

"The guide is designed to allow for informed buying decisions without having to leave the comfort of your home," adds Mr. Frischkorn. JPN's Buyer's Guide is derived from the company's 'Expo Explorer' service, wherein company representatives seek out the best ideas on behalf of clients at regional trade fairs.
