Unique Solution Against Remotely Activated Explosive Devices

The Elisra Group has announced that it will display its unique Explosive Device solution at the MSPO Exhibition. This innovative and sophisticated solution utilizes Elisra Group's battle-proven electronic jamming superiority to block the remote activation of EDs via RF frequency and other communication means.

The jammer - developed by the Elisra Group - can be either handheld or vehicle-mounted.

"This unique EJAB jammer has a wide range of uses in Low Intensity Conflicts, along contested borders or in urban scenarios," said Itzchak Gat, Elisra Group's CEO, adding, "The result of close cooperation with operational units of the IDF, this solution is customized to meet our customer's real and emerging battlefield needs, reflecting another aspect of the Group's platform of success."

Based on actual combat zone threats, the system provides an optimized solution that has already been repeatedly proven in the field. The modular Electronic Jamming Anti Bomb (EJAB) system - which is being used on missions by a number of European countries - enables customers to extend its frequency range to meet emerging battlefield requirements.

The Elisra Group also provides solutions from the same 'family' for use in civilian scenarios such as: jammers for cellular communication device usage in conference rooms, exhibition and conference halls, work places, and even for open spaces like stadiums.

A developmental exercise conducted in a synthetic battalion environment at the U.S. Army Aviation Warfighting Center in Fort Rucker, Ala., has demonstrated the potential benefits of the U.S. Army's military flight operations quality assurance (MFOQA) program, and will help define how the technology will be developed and used in the field.
