Estonia, Latvia and Poland are also due to join the project. Jouyet also said that France is ready to cooperate with Lithuania in other energy projects like building energy bridge to Poland and connecting the the gas pipelines of the two countries. "All these projects would ensure Lithuania's energy independance. It is very important that Euroepan energy independance is secured," Jouyet said.
