Fleet Space Technologies, a leader in space-enabled mineral exploration, has announced the acquisition of HiSeis, a premier provider of active seismic exploration technology for the minerals sector.

This strategic move strengthens Fleet Space's ability to deliver comprehensive exploration solutions, integrating cutting-edge seismic data acquisition and AI-driven drill targeting through its ExoSphere platform.

The combination of HiSeis' advanced seismic imaging with Fleet Space's proprietary technology will streamline global mining operations, accelerating mineral discovery while optimizing efficiency.

HiSeis: Enhancing Seismic Imaging for Mineral Exploration

HiSeis is recognized globally for its leadership in active seismic technology, offering high-resolution subsurface imaging that enhances mineral deposit identification. Its approach involves transmitting seismic energy into the ground and analyzing the returning signals that reflect off deep geological structures. Using state-of-the-art processing methods, HiSeis constructs detailed subsurface images, enabling precise drill targeting and improved geological interpretation.

By integrating HiSeis' seismic techniques into the ExoSphere platform-which leverages Fleet Space's satellite network, patented sensors, and multimodal AI models-the acquired seismic data will be rapidly processed and merged with other geophysical datasets. This fusion enhances the 3D visualization of mineral systems, enabling more accurate targeting while minimizing environmental disruption.

Revolutionizing Seismic Imaging with AI-Driven Exploration

A New Phase for Fleet Space's Expansion

Fleet Space's acquisition of HiSeis follows its successful $100 million Series D funding round, which has more than doubled the company's valuation to over $525 million. This growth supports the ongoing expansion of ExoSphere, a platform already adopted by over 40 leading mining companies, including Rio Tinto, Barrick, Ma'aden, and Gold Fields. In January, Fleet Space also launched its most advanced exploration satellites, Centauri 7 and Centauri 8, aboard SpaceX's Transporter 12 mission to further bolster its capabilities.

The integration of HiSeis into Fleet Space's operations is set to begin immediately, with collaborative projects already in progress.
