WPCS Completes Renewable Wind Energy Project
Exton PA (SPX) Oct 22, 2008 WPCS International has announced that, through its Max Engineering subsidiary, it has completed a renewable wind energy project that encompasses the construction and installation of a wind turbine for Sherrard Community Unit School District located in Rock Island County, Illinois. The wind turbine is designed to generate a clean alternative energy source for the school district and is expected to provide a large percentage of the electrical energy required. The Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation, established to invest in clean energy development and land preservation efforts, supported this project with a grant. Robert Winterhalter, Senior Vice President for WPCS/Max Engineering, commented, "We are pleased to have been selected to be a part of the renewable wind energy project at Sherrard Community Unit School District.
